- 1 (17.5-ounce) package Betty Crocker chocolate chip cookie mix
- ½ cup butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 1 cup butterscotch chips
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
- 1 cup flaked coconut
- 13 ounces sweetened condensed milk
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a large bowl, mix 1 (17.5-ounce) package Betty Crocker cookie mix, ½ cup butter, and 1 egg until well combined and dough forms. Press into the bottom of a greased 9x13 baking dish. Bake for 14-16 minutes. Once baked, sprinkle 1 cup each of butterscotch chips, milk chocolate chips, and coconut over the cookie layer. Drizzle 13 ounces sweetened condensed milk over the top.
Bake for 25-30 minutes longer or until golden brown. Let cool completely before cutting into squares.
STORE the magic cookie bars recipe in an airtight container for about 3-5 days. If they are in the fridge they can last up to a week.
FREEZE. Cool and wrap each bar with plastic wrap and place them together in an air-tight freezer-safe container for up to 3-4 months. Thaw 30 minutes to 1 hour before eating.
